Marvel Producer to Produce Movie Based on Metal Gear VG Series

Avi Arad, known for producing such super-hero blockbusters as Iron Man, Spider-Man (Original Trilogy AND “Amazing” Reboot), and X-Men, announced that he will be producing a movie based on the Metal Gear video game franchise. 

Some long-time fans of the games are anxious upon hearing the news, as video games don’t always translate well to the silver screen, but Metal Gear series creator, Hideo Kojima, believes Arad is the man help make a film that will satisfy long-time fans of the video games.

To allay any fears and speculation, it has been reported that Arad said through Twitter, “We will take our time and tell the story with all the nuances, ideology, and cautionary tales needed.” This may be exactly the reassurance fans need as those familiar with the video game franchise know the rich depth of the narrative each game possesses.
